摘要: Abstract The propagation of elastic waves in a medium containing many inclusions is considered. Under the assumption that spatial distribution uniform, general equation derived for determination velocity dispersion and attenuation coefficient effective waves. A simple example presented where scatterers are infinitesimally thin cracks. calculated results show Q −1 takes peak value wavelength nearly equal to twice crack length.
