摘要: Attention is focused on the propagation of antiplane coherent wave obliquely incident mutually parallel and randomly distributed cracks. A fundamental question in this study concerns ability describing all directions from knowledge effective material properties along principal directions, only. Its relevance illustrated by considering two cases propagation: homogeneous inhomogeneous waves. For both cases, phase slownesses approximated dispersion equation specific for orthotropic media are compared to reference results obtained a direct calculation waves This work reveals that stiffnesses have be dependent direction order make consistent.
