摘要: The authors present the results of a simulation study exploring performance various error control schemes in fast packet switching network. Three most popular are examined: end-to-end, link-by-link, and combined link/edge scheme. suggest that end-to-end error-control scheme provides superior for networks real-world environments. In fact, when high-speed, low rate transmission media is utilized network implementation, lower delays almost all traffic intensities. >
