摘要: This research utilizes a large-scale travel survey that captures two important – but often overlooked elements: traveler motivations and satisfaction levels. Attitudes towards exercise, social interaction, the environment are central affecting individual’s choice of mode. Trip is complex element has ramifications for understanding behavior. Using clustering techniques, walkers stratified into one six distinct groups based on underlying values motivations. Among other findings, people who most concerned with environmental issues physical activity walking much longer distances than average more satisfied their commute. In addition, new conceptual model behavior presented suggests lead to home location decisions while simultaneously having moderating effect perception travel. adds burgeoning debate surrounding how various aspects can best be measured, conceptualized modeled better public policy.
