摘要: Abstract The mechanism of Au dispersion in sediments mountainous desert environments has been studied two different areas the Chilean Andes. San Pedro de Cachiyuyo placer (ca. 1800 m a.s.l.) consists alluvial fans and ephemeral stream deposited a stable piedmont. primary source is Cu–Au-bearing hydrothermal tourmaline breccia. relief this area low (1850 m) average annual rainfall ca. 20 mm. La Coipa 4000 characterized by rugged relief. 100 sedimentary deposits are less sorted than consist alluvium slope formed periglacial environment. sources volcanic-hosted epithermal precious metal deposits. At Cachiyuyo, halo 1 km length highest concentration observed at break between hillside In area, was only detected chemical analysis 125–63 μm
