摘要: P-glycoprotein (P-gp), an ATP-dependent efflux pump, is a membrane protein encoded by MDR1 gene, which demonstrates functional polymorphism. It present in endothelial cells of the blood-brain barrier. P-gp pays role transmembrane transport various xenobiotics, thus limiting their accumulation central nervous system. Cyclosporine A used as immunosuppressive drug patients with allogenic kidney grafts substrate for P-gp. may cause neurotoxic adverse effects, among them tremor. was assumed that polymorphism gene associated change activity plays induction tremor some graft treated cyclosporine A. total 118 unrelated postransplant were enrolled into study. The group included 23 cases and 95 randomly selected posttransplant individuals no signs served controls. No statistically significant correlation between C3435T found. control characterized similar distribution genotypes, i.e. 3435CC, 3435CT, 3435TT.
