摘要: To evaluate mechanisms underlying the close association between insulin secretion and sensitivity, sensitivity was evaluated by euglycemic-hyperinsulinemic clamp technique (M/I ) determined from 75-g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) glucose-dependent arginine-stimulation in 81 nondiabetic postmenopausal women, all aged 61 years. M/I normally distributed with mean ± SD of 69.9 30.5 nmol · kg −1 min /pmol l . It found that several different measures OGTT were inversely related to However, determining direct responses more markedly potentiated low than potentiation secretion. Moreover, product times (disposition index [DI]) 2-h value. Finally, surrogate quantified only weakly correlated ( R 2 ≈ 0.25). Thus, 1 is adaptively increased when women; β-cell exocytotic ability shows efficient adaptation recognition sensitivity; 3 impaired (i.e., DI) associated higher values during OGTT, although other regulatory also exist; 4 indirect correlate as clamp.
