摘要: ObjectivesTo analyse the effect of an organized, nationwide breast cancer screening programme on non-organized mammography activities in Hungary.SettingThe dataset Hungarian National Health Insurance Fund Administration covering years 2000-2005.MethodsData derived from database Administration. The study includes all women undergoing before (2000-2001) and after (2002-2003/2004-2005) introduction organized screening.ResultsThe number having (opportunistic/diagnostic) mammograms was around 250,000 2000-2001, but increased to 350,000 2005.
