摘要: AbstractAn aqueous based polymeric coating system, polydimethyl-siloxane elastomer latex, was employed to coat acetaminophen tablets. Drug release characteristics due this polymer were monitored by in-vitro dissolution tests. It found that heat treatment of the and desiccation pretreatment significantly changed drug profiles compared untreated, coated The slowest rate obtained desiccating tablets for 24 hours or more followed at 40°C least 4.5 hours. Rupturing layer during testing observed only if curing process not utilized. As expected, released a given time inversely proportional thickness.
