摘要: Previous reports in this series have described the preparation of stable poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) latices suitable for spray-coating drug tablets, as well mechanism associated crosslinking reactions PDMS emulsions. In present investigation, vitro evaluations were performed to study effects amount channeling agents, addition colloidal silica, and pH dissolution media used. The involved hydrochlorothiazide (as a marker drug) released from compressed which had been spray coated using with various polyethylene glycol (PEG) loadings agents. results showed that tablets containing up 25% (w/w dps) PEG could constant release rates. Higher amounts resulted nonlinear patterns. silica decreased rates release. affected structures exposed films. Swelling tests carried out determine water uptake.
