摘要: Simultaneous determinations of anaerobic glycolysis, hexokinase activity (HxK), glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) and acetyl-cholinesterase (AChE) were made in the whole red cell populations patients healthy subjects, layers centrifuged packs selected to give regression lines for each parameter plotted against others. Apparently normal interrelationships found blood loss haemolytic disease various origins. Abnormalities revealed which would escape notice if a single assayed. These relative, not absolute, deficiency glycolysis case congenital nonspherocytic with no G6PD, HxK or pyruvate kinase; unexplained anaemia; AChE Coombs positive disease. In paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria was severely deficient while G6PD extraordinarily high appeared normally interrelated. The patient had been transfused just before these studies, calculations based on enzyme data led hypothesis that this donor cells rapidly destroyed. Observations showed values occur as two independent distributions. same true AChE. Glycolysis correlated but did approach perfect functional relationship. There is evidence unrelated age occurs malignant disease, it conclusive.
