摘要: We compared the determination of ileal and total tract digestibility carbohydrates in five experimental diets using a double 5 x Latin square design involving 10 cannulated pigs; half pigs were equipped with simple T-cannula other steered ileo-caecal valve (SICV)-cannula. The consisted nitrogen-free mixture soya bean meal, sunflower peas or rape seed cake diluted to about 180 g/kg DM protein mixture. There was no significant difference values two types cannulas regard organic matter, sugars (sum glucose, fructose sucrose), alpha-galactosides raffinose, stachyose verbascose), starch, cellulose, non-cellulosic polysaccharides (NCP) insoluble NCP constituents. for residues arabinose galactose, however, estimated higher but lower variability SICV-cannula T-cannula. type cannula did influence estimation any major dietary constituents, slightly more variable when sugars, alpha-galactosides, cellulose uronic acids among diets, while starch remaining sugar varied between diets. complete whereas cell wall constituents accordance polymeric composition walls. It concluded that digesta samples from are homogenous than those In cases where precision each is crucial, should be option.
