摘要: Summary OBJECTIVE The purpose of the study was to evaluate plasma inhibin as a marker hydatidiform mole and compare results with intact human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG) its free β-subunit. DESIGN Serial determinations concentrations inhibin, β-subunit in cases over an average period 140 days. PATIENTS Five mole, including patients spontaneous remission after evacuation or persistent trophoblastic disease. MEASUREMENTS Immunoreactive Inhibin, hCG were measured using standard enzyme immunoassays. RESULTS levels greater than normal pregnant women at same gestational age. Only could detect persistence tissue. CONCLUSIONS Our data suggest that might be useful diagnostic markers molar pregnancies. However, original method determination Is still superior for follow-up.
