摘要: One of the main peculiarities in protein chromatography is that adsorbing proteins and adsorbent pores have comparable sizes. This has consequence pore accessibility depends not only on solute size but also loading conditions because adsorption significantly reduces pores. A model accounts for distribution stationary phase shrinkage due to been developed describe mass transport porous particles. shown be equivalent general rate (GRM) case processes under highly diluted with little adsorption. implies parameters determination follows same procedure as classical GRM. The new applied compared GRM simulation lysozyme breakthrough experiments prediction 5% dynamic binding capacity values solely based static measurements.
