摘要: Abstract This study explores the potential of solid waste as effective and low-cost adsorbing materials to clean waters polluted by mining sector. The selected adsorbents for our studies were drinking water sludge (SLG), coal fly ash (TB) modified (TBFZ3). adsorbates toxic oxyanions As(V), Cr(VI), Mo(VI) Se(IV). carried on in synthesized cocktail solutions (SCS) real tailing pond (TPW). investigation revealed that both TB SLG contain very low non-leachable impurities, thus are suitable most treatment. temperature caustic liquor treatment (TBFZ3) greatly improved adsorption properties original made it even cleaner. modification technique is simple economic compared other processes. solution pH influences differently process, depending nature must be monitored controlled carefully. Excellent capacities observed SCS TPW matrices. kinetics capacity studied remarkably enhanced high electrolyte containing TPW. generally fits well Langmuir Freundlich isotherms.
