摘要: Arsenic contamination in water is a worldwide problem. It spreading the environment as result of numerous natural and anthropogenic sources having massive influence on health human ecological systems. In order to mitigate this problem, there are various conventional technologies available for removal arsenic like oxidation, coagulation flocculation, ion exchange, membrane processes. However, limitations associated with these techniques such high cost generation toxic byproducts due which attention has been paid biosorption past few years, it an eco-friendly well cost-effective technique. by low-cost adsorbents biosorbents activated carbons, algae, submerged plants, bacteria, fungi, plant, fruit wastes have surveyed critically reviewed paper along their sorption efficiencies. Furthermore, nonlinear models adsorption dynamics thermodynamic feasibility together detailed analysis biological mechanisms uptake fungi algae discussed detail present work. Alternatives disposal loaded sludge obtained after also addressed.
