摘要: Abstract Productivity is always an important factor related to the industries for achieving higher production rate with better quality at low cost. In this respect, effort has been made improve productivity of turning process application two cutting tools in place single tool and such developed named as Duplex Turning. Due simultaneous on a shared rotating surface, Turning becomes more complex. complexity, selection suitable combination parameters difficult task manufacturer. The aims present paper are develop mathematical model optimize during alloy steel (AISI 1040) point high speed steel. experiments were performed Center Lathe Machine, which equipped setup. effect velocity, feed rate, primary depth-of-cut secondary analyzed average surface roughness. hybrid approach Taguchi Methodology-Response Surface Methodology (TM-RSM) applied due their potential modeling optimization complex machining process. optimum condition obtained from TM used central value RSM optimization. result shows significant improvement finish compared analysis.
