摘要: The resonant modes of optic interferometer cavities are investigated in the angular spectrum domain. investigation is based on an integral equation (governing relation between normal and cavity geometry) which derived by using self-consistent Rayleigh formulation for solving diffraction problems. For plane-parallel this can be solved means a series expansion orthogonal functions characteristic geometry without making any assumption about relative magnitudes end reflector dimensions separation. solution also provides, addition to comparison with solutions approximated Huygens’ as found other investigators, direct way obtaining plane-wave (or radiation pattern) beam emerging from cavity. particular cases infinite-strip circular reflectors considered paper.
