Low-temperature sintering of M-type barium ferrite with BaCu(B2O5) additive

摘要: Abstract The aim of this work is to lower the sintered temperature M-type barium ferrite (BaM) by BaCu(B 2 O 5 ) (BCB) additives. effects BCB additives on sintering behavior, structure and magnetic properties BaM were also discussed. It was found that density, saturation magnetization initial permeability are modified obviously as small amount (1–4 wt%) added. Especially, when with 3 wt% at 900 °C, single-phase obtained showed excellent density 4.88 g/cm 3 , 61.4 emu/g 3.15. In addition, SEM result revealed sample can be co-fired well Ag electrode 900 °C. reason for attributed formation liquid phase. suggests used LTCC substrate millimeter wave circulator, filter other microwave devices.
