摘要: In this chapter, we describe developmental and clinical characteristics of obsessive compulsive behaviors, highlighting both pathological non-pathological expressions in childhood adolescence. To provide context, define discuss obsessional thoughts compulsions, ritualistic obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD). Next, to present a more comprehensive picture the presentation OCD, briefly review empirical theoretical literature that addresses phenomenology, epidemiological studies, neurobiology, issues comorbidity. However, our primary focus is propose developmental, family-based model OCD may begin as early preschool years with emergence behaviors suggest pathways normative maladaptive outcomes. This contribution familial attitudes towards development, strengthening, maintenance symptoms, well impact symptoms on family relationships. light emerging research accommodation life, current treatment practices will also be reviewed.
