摘要: This review provides an up-to-date overview of the evidence relating to how physical inactivity ameliorates cancer-related fatigue. A summary postulated biological mechanisms underpinning relationship is presented. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses synthesising results randomised controlled trials activity interventions reduce fatigue broadly conclude that aerobic combination exercise may be most helpful, while resistance training alone less efficacious. Further, light- moderate-intensity appeared fatigue, whereas vigorous-intensity exacerbate condition. Physical result in greater reductions when delivered post-treatment. Biological explain can improve different elements include inflammation; hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal (HPA) axis circadian rhythm dysregulation; serotonin alterations ATP muscle metabolism. well tolerated by cancer survivors modest improvements Much research this field has been from small-scale feasibility trials. In order help clinicians allied health professionals tailor prescriptions individual needs, further required. New should implement rigorous inclusion criteria, fully powered detect effects sub-group analyses, incorporate multiple sites, have well-defined control conditions. There also a need better understand affects subtypes
