摘要: High content screening (HCS) experiments create a classic data management challenge—multiple, large sets of heterogeneous structured and unstructured data, that must be integrated linked to produce set “final” results. These different include images, reagents, protocols, analytic output, phenotypes, all which stored, made accessible for users, scientists, collaborators where appropriate the wider community. The OME Consortium has built several open source tools managing, linking sharing these types data. Data Model is metadata specification supports image recorded in HCS experiments. Bio-Formats Java library reads includes support systems. OMERO an enterprise application integrates experimental makes them visualization, mining, downstream analysis. We discuss how handle types, they can used integrate, link share facilities public repositories. specifications software are available at https://www.openmicroscopy.org.
