摘要: Isotope dilution mass spectrometry (IDMS) is an analytical technique based on the modification of natural isotope composition elements or compounds after addition to sample enriched isotopically labeled form analyte. The in mixture, measured by Mass Spectrometry, provides concentration analyte simple calculations. IDMS has been regarded as a highly qualified primary method capable providing accurate and precise results directly traceable International System units. Additionally, essential tool many research laboratories for validation methods lower metrological quality certification reference materials. In last few years, applications are being implemented routine testing reduction total analysis time increase provided pays off cost acquisition enriched/labeled material. This chapter details basic theoretical practical considerations required successfully apply determination compounds. Special attention paid explain main factors affecting accuracy precision measurement elemental molecular isotopic compositions.
