摘要: The induction of an early increase in polyamine metabolism, termed "the response," is now recognized to have a critical role the reaction neurons injury. Several studies experimental animals demonstrated that treatment with naturally occurring polyamines spermine, spermidine, and putrescine can protect from dying after infliction various types neurotrauma, including mechanical injuries, neurotoxic insults, ischemia. These findings led us synthesize series derivatives 1-aminoindan 1-aminotetralin determine their effects several vitro vivo models neurotrauma. Some novel compounds proved be potent neuroprotective these models, one them, N, N-di-(4-aminobutyl)-1-aminoindan, was superior others natural themselves. We conclude based on polyamine-based structures we synthesized therapeutic potential as agents.
