摘要: The ecdysone receptor (EcR) is the hormonal of ecdysteroids, which regulates insect growth and development. In this study, we cloned characterized two isoforms EcR in Monochamus alternates named MaEcR A B. cDNAs B have open repeating frames 1,695 1,392 bp, respectively. deduced proteins same C-terminal sequence varied N-terminal, are consistent with reports on other species, particularly another coleopteran, Tribolium castaneum. isoform-specific developmental expression profile epidermis midgut were analyzed quantitative real-time reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction pupal stage. RNA interference (RNAi) common or regions induced stagnation. When treated later larval stage, RNAi either an specific caused more severe effects most larvae died prior to adulthood. less about half became adults, but some showed defects. both at early stage attenuated 20E-regulated genes E74, E75, HR3. study demonstrates role transduction ecdysteroid response alternatus.
