摘要: The cement industry is an energy intensive consuming about 4 GJ per tonne of produced. A thermodynamic analysis for cogeneration using the waste heat streams not easily available. Data from a working 1 Mt annum plant in India used to obtain balance system and Sankey diagram drawn. It found that 35% input being lost with streams. steam cycle selected recover recovery generator it estimated 4.4 MW electricity can be generated. This represents 30% requirement 10% improvement primary efficiency plant. payback period within two years.
