摘要: OBJECTIVE: To demonstrate the use of visualization and simulation tools in order to involve stakeholders inform process hospital change processes, illustrated by an empirical study from a children's emergency clinic. BACKGROUND: Reorganization redevelopment is complex activity that involves many demands. Visualization have proven useful for involving practitioners eliciting relevant knowledge. More knowledge desired about how these can be implemented practice planning processes. METHODS: A participatory including researchers was executed over 3-year period evaluate combination elicit needs requirements. RESULTS: The initial clinic proposal architect discarded as result study. Much general organization extracted means adopted tools. Some proved more accessible than others participating added value presenting information alternative ways questions different angles. CONCLUSIONS: (or other types processes) providing see beyond present demands current work structures. Long-term involvement with central creating setting where practitioners' guides process. (Less)
