摘要: The management of patients with leptomeningeal metastases (LM) is multifaceted and complex. Even an aggressive approach, therapeutic outcomes are uniformly disappointing. This because the relentless growth central nervous system (CNS) and/or systemic cancers, or their lethal complications. Advances in understanding homing cancer cells to CNS, metastasis general, more effective anticancer drugs that adequately delivered CNS cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) needed improve for LM. These advances may lead better treatments this disease and, ultimately, its prevention.
