摘要: The metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a cluster of risk factors including insulin resistance, dyslipidemia and hypertension which are also relevant for the development chronic kidney disease (CKD). It has proven difficult to elucidate whether renal dysfunction in MetS due itself or individual factors. For example, obesity - part may enhance probably through mechanisms associated with hyperfiltration, hyperperfusion focal glomerulosclerosis. Insulin resistance promotes by worsening hemodynamics. In patients MetS, tubular atrophy, interstitial fibrosis, arteriolar sclerosis indicating presence vascular damage, have been described. As yet, there little evidence that preventing treating symptoms protects from impairment.
