摘要: Abstract Four key samples of the Mg-Ca-Sn ternary system in Mg-rich region at 415 and 350 °C have been determined using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) equipped with Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectrometry (EDS). The existence CaMgSn compound was confirmed these two isothermal sections. Thermodynamic optimizations Ca-Sn binary were carried out CALPHAD ( Cal culation Pha se D iagrams) technique. Modified Quasichemical Model (MQM) used for liquid solution which exhibits a high degree short-range ordering behavior solution. solid phases are modeled Compound Formalism (CEF). Finally, self-consistent thermodynamic database has constructed present work, would provide an efficient convenient way to study develop new Mg-Sn based alloys.
