摘要: We present a preliminary design for neutron detection system that is compact, lightweight, and low power consuming, utilizing the CubeSat platform making it suitable space-based applications. This made possible using scintillating crystal lithium indium diselenide ( 6 LilnSe 2 ), first to include Li in crystalline structure, silicon avalanche photodiode. The schematics of this instrument are presented as well response initial testing under alpha radiation.
