摘要: Following IPCC guidelines (IPCC 2006), we estimate greenhouse gas emissions related to livestock in 237 countries and 11 categories during the period 1961–2010. We find that 2010 of methane nitrous oxide worldwide represented approximately 9 % total (GHG) emissions. Global GHG from increased by 51 % analyzed period, mostly due strong growth developing (Non-Annex I) (+117 %). In contrast, developed country (Annex decreased (−23 %). Beef dairy cattle are largest source (74 % global emissions). Since tend have lower CO2-equivalent per unit GDP quantity product generated sector, amount wealth emitted sector can be improving both farming practices overall state economic development. Our results reveal important details how production associated occurred time space. Discrepancies with higher tiers, demonstrate value more detailed analyses, discourage over interpretation smaller-scale trends Tier 1 results, but do not undermine analysis.
