摘要: ABSTRACT. Our findings suggest that the capacity for temporal learning in ants may be associated with nectivory. We tested existence of time and location nectivorous tropical ant, Paraponera clavata (F.). Artificial nectar sources were provided at fixed times locations to P. workers 5 days. Ants appeared feeding appropriate on first day no reward was provided. By third without there difference visitation between site a control equidistant from colony. Most arrived sites within 30 min training time, indicating precision ant sense is similar previously documented honeybees.
