Case Report We report an incident involving loss after surgery with extremely low hematocrit. Despite Hb (2.8 g/dL) she remained lucid, expressing wish receive transfusion. When patient lost consciousness (Hb, 1.4 g/dL) was promptly sedated, curarized, put onto mechanical controlled ventilation.
