摘要: Abstract ARL, Australia, has pioneered a new and highly cost-effective scheme for field or in situ repairs of aircraft components suffering from cracking caused by fatigue stress-corrosion. The is based on the application adhesively bonded patches advanced fibre composites (usually boron reinforced plastic—BFRP). background this procedure outlined number practical applications briefly described. Finally some other possible selective reinforcement to rectify defective metallic are discussed.
