摘要: We generated gene expression data from the tissues of 50 gastric cancer patients, and applied meta-analysis set analysis to this three other stomach sets define changes in tumors. By we identified genes consistently changed carcinomas, while revealed biological themes. Genes involved digestion, fatty acid metabolism, ion transport were down-regulated those cellular proliferation, cell cycle, DNA replication up-regulated. also found significant differences between expressed diffuse intestinal type carcinoma. cytogenetic bands, many chromosomal regions with possible gross (amplifications or deletions). Similar transcription factor binding sites (TFBSs), factors that may have caused observed confirmed overexpression one these, E2F1, carcinomas by tissue array immunohistochemistry. incorporated results our meta- analyses into a web accessible database (http://human-genome.kribb.re.kr/stomach/).
