摘要: Gastric carcinoma (GC) is the most frequent malignancy arising in stomach and represents fourth cancer worldwide. In this chapter, we will review major advances that have contributed to unraveling underlying mechanisms of gastric carcinogenesis, including identification Helicobacter pylori gastritis as a factor development subsequent studies characterizing complex molecular alterations mucosa induced by H. infection, EBV-associated cancer, genome-wide combined with hypothesis-driven research provided approaches for classification genes specific pathways potentially amenable personalized targeted therapies.
