摘要: It has been shown by Bolt and Maa that the distribution of normal modes vibration an elastic continuum is given Aν2+B(S/V)ν+0(1) where A B are numerical constants S/V ratio surface area to volume continuum. When this result applied theory vibrational heat capacity a solid at low temperatures, Aν2‐term yields well‐known T3 law B(S/V)ν‐term leads contribution proportional T2. About 0.5 10 percent non‐metallic powders materials with domain structure can be attributed T2 term 1°K. The importance increases decreasing temperature. It well known temperatures electronic metal temperature. In system very small metallic particles, proportionality constant increased quantity (S/V⅔)n−⅓ n number conduction electrons in metal.
