Particle-size effect of the specific heat of graphite at low temperatures

摘要: Abstract The particle-size effect of the specific heat graphite at low temperatures observed by D e S orbo and N ichols is explained on basis theory komatsu agamiya . Smaller values elastic constants c44 c33 are assumed for specimens smaller sizes. With suitable choices their values, particularly that c44, it shown calculated specific-heat curves fit satisfactorily with points. It concluded significant differences in various due mostly to different c44.
