摘要: A theory of the lattice vibration and specific heat graphite, which has a typical lamellar structure, is worked out using Born-von Karman method. Four types restoring forces are assumed; first second ones associated with changes in bond lengths angles honey-comb net planes, respectively, third change distance between neighoring atoms on adjacent fourth bending planes. We have obtained modes whose polarizations parallel perpendicular to The former essentially two-dimensional, but latter more complex characters play particular role temperature range 45° 100°K. As our main interest this higher ranges, we neglect shearing neighboring planes effective at much lower temperatures.
