摘要: In trial no. 22811 on a randomized comparison of multiple fractions per day (MFD), with or without misonidazole, to conventional fractionation in advanced head and neck cancer, large number (523) patients was entered short period time. No differences treatment results were obtained, but the study created an important database, allowing for detailed evaluation most factors influencing prognosis. univariate analysis, significantly survival locoregional control were: performance status, histological differentiation, tumor site, nodal staging, tumoral volume. multivariate significant involvement, stage, site. Significant involvement total burden. This analysis suggests that burden (volume) should be included interpretation cancer.
