摘要: Fecal samples obtained from 600 household cats (244 males and 356 females) kept in 3 prefectures of Tohoku district Japan were examined for Giardia intestinalis antigen, using a commercial enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit. G. antigen was detected 40% the fecal specimens. The factors such as age, life style or environmental condition could be significantly related to positive rate antigen. In contrast, investigative district, appearance feces, sex, breed origin produced no significant difference rate. present results suggest that infection is widely spread district.
