摘要: Focal electrical stimulation of the arcuate nucleus hypothalamus (ARH) for 5 min (1 session) produced a marked elevation tail flick latency (TFL) to noxious heat in pentobarbital-anesthetized rat. Repeated total 11 sessions at 30 intervals resulted gradual decline hypoalgesic action, and this tolerance may last 7 days. Tolerance ARH analgesic reduced analgesia by low (2 Hz) but not high (100 frequency electroacupuncture (EA); EA attenuated stimulation-produced without affecting analgesia. Alternatively, rats tolerant high-frequency were still sensitive either or low-frequency stimulation. These results suggest that administration via common neural mechanism, supporting our hypothesis put forward previously plays an important role mediating low-
