摘要: Transections at two levels of the forebrain were undertaken in rat to investigate neural structures indispensable for mediation tail flick reflex suppression (TFRS) induced by low (2 Hz) and high (100 frequency electroacupuncture (EA) stimulation. Removal telencephalic did not affect TFRS produced EA, although a mild temporal attenuation was observed EA-induced TFRS. Ablation whole (the telencephalon diencephalon) resulted total abolishment 2-Hz EA effect as measured 5, 24 72 h after surgery. In meantime there moderate (− 32.8%, P < 0.05) 100-Hz effect, which appeared 5 operation recovered h. The results indicate that (1) persisted animals devoid structures; (2) an intact diencephalon is circuitry controlling
