摘要: A mathematical model of ride sharing was proposed and tested by using data collected in the Chicago area 1975. The purpose development to determine how perceived advantages disadvantages behavioral predispositions toward it. main conclusions are that (a) demographic travel characteristics poor indicators predictors choice between driving alone sharing; (b) study attitudes provides answers relevant question develop ride-sharing stategies; (c) with exception individuals having a relatively high socioeconomic status, appeals based on public-interest issues energy, traffic, air quality have little chance changing (d) perceptions drivers time loss convenience reliability would need change before their behavior economic minor role determination predisposition (3) override negative about sharing, campaigns should address its positive aspects related use reliability. /Author/
