摘要: Motor symptoms such as neurological soft signs (NSS) are characteristic phenomena of schizophrenia at any stage the illness. Neuroimaging studies in patients have shown regional thinning cortical mantle, but it is unknown present whether NSS related to thickness changes. Whole brain high-resolution magnetic resonance imaging 3 Tesla was used investigate 28 with recent-onset schizophrenia. Cortical reconstruction performed Freesurfer image analysis suite. were examined on Heidelberg Scale and thickness. Age, education, medication considered potential confounders. Higher scores associated morphological changes multiple areas comprising paracentral gyrus, postcentral lobule, precuneus, inferior parietal lobule temporal lobe. Our results confirm hypothesis a significant relationship between extent Investigation may help explain subtle motor
