摘要: Pityrosporum orbiculare and Candida albicans extracts were separated by SDS-PAGE, IgE binding was detected immunoblotting with 21 patient sera that RAST positive to both yeasts. Cross-wise inhibition performed of a serum pool containing antibodies The mixed serial dilutions P. or C. extracts, incubated strips allergen. quantified densitometric scanning percent calculated as well the respective ratios between required extract concentration for 50% in heterologous compared homologous each component (inhibition ratio). Ten components more than 60% sera. weak, only four bands 30% most important allergen 48-kDa band, which half bound. There little albicans. Thus, all but three exhibited an ratio higher 100. compound 50, thus indicating some degree cross-reactivity. Significant cross-reactivity shown compounds 18, 24, 26, 34, 38 kDa, less 10. apparent protein allergens two yeasts, do not merely reflect sensitization orbiculare.
