摘要: Rod-shaped nanoparticles of lanthanum-doped hydroxyapatite (LA-HAp) were synthesized by a modified sol– gel method at low temperature 100 C. The (La+Ca):P ratio was maintained 1.67 and the La/Ca+La varied as x= 0.02, 0.06 0.1. XRD, FTIR, EDAX TEM analysis indicated that pure, crystalline La-incorporated HAp rod-shaped 15–25 nm diameter 100–120 length, obtained. On increasing concentration La, from 0.02 to 0.1, an increase in crystallinity crystallite size achieved. These particles internalized human embryonic kidney adenocarcinoma cells exhibited fluorescence when observed under TRITC FITC filters using epifluorescence microscopy. La-HAp with x = highest internalization, maximum intracellular no cytotoxicity. cell viability internalization decreased increases La concentration.
