摘要: Brillouin microscopy has recently emerged as powerful technique to characterize the mechanical properties of biological tissue, cell and biomaterials. However, potential is currently limited transparent samples, because spectrometers do not have sufficient spectral extinction reject predominant non-Brillouin scattered light turbid media. To overcome this issue, we developed a spectrometer composed two VIPA stages multi-pass Fabry-Perot interferometer. The etalon acts an ultra-narrow band-pass filter for with high low loss. We report background-free spectra from Intralipid solutions up 100 microns deep within chicken muscle tissue.
