摘要: Substantial progress has been made in ethanol fermentation technology under high gravity (HG) and very (VHG), which offer environmental economic benefits. HG VHG processes increase the productivity of ethanol, reduce distillation costs, enable higher yields. The aim present study was to evaluate use sugarcane molasses as medium component along with flocculating yeasts for a fed-batch process employing this promising technology. We evaluated fermentation, HG, involving molasses-based concentrations reducing sugars (209, 222, 250 g/L). Fermentation 222 g/L total achieved 89.45% efficiency, final concentration 104.4 g/L, whereas highest (2.98 g/(L.h)) 209 g/L sugars. close value obtained P’max (105.35 g/L). kinetic model provided good fit experimental data regarding 222 g/L. results revealed that can be efficiently used costs achieve titers.
